Round table 2. “PORTS AS LOGISTIC, DIGITAL, SUSTAINABILITY AND ECONOMIC HUBS: STRENGTHS AND CHALLENGES OF THE FOUR POWER TRANSITION PATHWAYS FOR THE EVOLUTION OF ADRION PORTS”
Dr. Fotis Stergiopoulos, Centre for Reseach & technology Hellas, moderated the second experts’ round table “Ports as logistic, digital, sustainability and economic hubs: Strengths and challenges of the four PoWER transition pathways for the evolution of ADRION ports”. We heard the views of the participants who have contributed in the development of the Local Strategic Outlooks: Prof. Osman Metalla, Durres University (Albania), Mr Eners Čovrk, IPSA institute Sarajevo (Bosnia & Herzegovina), Mr Tvrtko Tomljenović, Rijeka Port Authority (Croatia), Mr Andrea Bardi, Institute for Transportation and Logistics (Italy), and Mr Francesco Magnanoli, Ravenna Port Authority (Italy).
Adrion ports, being traditional ones and offering mainly classical services at the moment, should pass through a transition and become logistic, digital and economic hubs, so that they would become central routes in the future.
