The second PoWER event took place with all success!
A total of 69 attendees have participated in the public event hosted by the Project Partner FEP on 5th November 2019 in Novi Sad.
The event hosted relevant representatives of the Danube and the Adriatic-Ionian Region working and researching – from different points of view – on ports’ development and related energy issues.
Indeed, in the morning, eleven panellists – representing research entities, university, public administration, energy agencies, as well as the EUSDR – have been invited to exchange their views in two roundtables, namely: “Towards a common Strategy for Evolving ADRION and Danube Ports into Innovation Hubs” and “How to Strengthen the Alliance Between Adriatic Sea Ports and Danube River Ports?”
After the roundtables closure, the PoWER Consortium had also the pleasure to have a group of students to make a presentation of the business ideas they have developed during the Gaming Sessions implemented within the project and experience, for the first time in their lives, an international research context.
The day has been closed with a Matchmaking session, during which all the stakeholders had the chance to have face-to-face meetings to discuss topics of common interest and possible cooperation options.
